Melts in your mouth. And also sometimes in the bowl.

Amy and I call this Number One Top Movie Snack. See, it's popcorn with M&Ms sprinkled on top. Just say that out loud, roll it around in your mouth: popcorn with M&Ms. Genius. If you're one of those people who enjoy salty and sweet together (like Amy), then this is going to blow your mind. If you're one of those people who enjoy salty and sweet separately (like me), you can eat the delicious popcorn first while the M&Ms get warm. Then you can reach down into the bottom of the bowl and pluck out the M&Ms when the shell is thin and the chocolate is melty and delicious. It's a win-win-win for anyone who is awesome. (Like you.)

I sort of like m&ms and goldfish crackers.

Mmm... I love me some goldfish crackers. Not with M&Ms, but just, you know, regular. Do you mix your fishes and your M&Ms in the same bowl?

this reminds me of trail mix from the girl scouts only yummier because i don't have to deal with peanuts or raisins.
---
Absolutely correct. What is the DEAL with raisins?

My wife loves cashews and red-hots together.
---
That's... something. Tell me, my friend, did you love Caspian?

This is an excellent combo, especially if you just reach blindly into the bowl and sometimes get a surprise M&M with your bite of popcorn. Then again, I am a salty-sweet aficionado.

You should leave work and go have a snack.

They were selling this at Target. TOGETHER.
---
Those bastards stole my idea! Well, jokes on them, because the whole point is to melt the M&Ms.

I love that combo. Of course, I'm all about the salty and the sweet mixed together.
---
That's because you're awesome.

Does this work with Reeses Peanut Butter Cups? You would have to chunk up the BP cups so it might stick to the popcorn....but that might be ok (but a little messy).
Duh....hello..(said Beth to herself).....Reese's Pieces!! I am totally having this for lunch today!
---
Oh, I like my Reese's Peanut Butter Cups cold. My grandparents used to keep them in the freezer for me.

Question: have I ever told you about the best sweet-salty snack eva?
Question: do you have pretzel rings in Georgia?
---
Nope and nope. Please explain.
Posted by: Abigail | May 19, 2008 03:35 PM
1. Place a hershey kiss in the center of a pretzel ring on a cookie sheet.
2. Repeat until the sheet is full.
3. Stick in oven for a few minutes on low heat. Do not burn the chocolate or you will die.
4. Take them out when the kisses are soft.
5. Use an M&M to push down the point of the kiss. Push down until the kiss fills the ring.
6. Repeat for all the kisses.
7. Put in fridge for an hour to harden.
8. ENJOY!
NOW, can you please ask the internet for pretzel rings? I really need them now.

I feel as if it is a newfound mission in my life to discover if this combination is as amazing when regular m&ms are substituted with peanut-centered m&ms.
I will report back promptly.

Oh yeah, I mix them together or have a small bowl of each and alternate. It's my secret shame. Also good with the dark chocolate m&ms.
