Next Wednesday is the last episode of Gossip Girl for the season, which means the bleak cloud of the Writer's Strike has now enshrouded all of my television shows in it's dark, chilly mist. One-by-one my favorite characters and couples have been sniped, and what I am left with is real, flesh-and-blood people, the ones who have hugged and kissed and adored me for years and years and years.

Television is gone.

Me and my flesh-and-blood people? We have nothing left to talk about.

Thursday nights are when it hits me the hardest. No Ugly Betty, no Scrubs, no The Office, no Grey's Anatomy (although . . . meh). The only bright, shining light is 30 Rock, because I haven't seen most of those.

---

Yes, Thursday nights actually physically hurt.

there's a new Grey's on next week.

---

If you can promise me an entire third of the show will be Miranda Bailey, I'm in.

I'm pretty sure an entire third of the show will be Miranda Bailey. (I've read some spoilers, so sue me.)

Abigail Marie Schilling! You know, I was just bragging to my sister last weekend about how you and I work so hard to stay informed at exactly the same level on television shows, books, and movies, so as not to spoil things for one another. And here you are READING SPOILERS. (What happens?)

YOU STOPPED WATCHING GREY'S.

---

THAT'S A FAIR POINT.

You can always use the time to watch DVDs of excellent shows you missed out on the first time around, like say, just off the top of my head . . . Buffy maybe?

---

You know what you should be using this time to do? Watch The Office.

Well, 'good thing we imaginary people are still around.

Charles and I have been suffering this already. We've started rewatching shows that we loved and are searching around for new ones to add. It is so sad. But I want the writers to win!

The cartoon network is about the only thing I watch anymore.

I love my imaginary friends.

I am suffering from withdrawal symptoms too from the 3 shows I watch: Greys Anatomy, House and Heroes.

But, there is still much to entertain me in the lovely city of London. Hoorah for Theatre! (The Nutcracker, Rapunzel...)

Happy New Year, Heather Anne!

And next thing you know, football season will end too. That'll be just about time for me to kill my television and move to computer-only media.
