dreamsome

This morning Amy interrupted a dream I was having in which I saved JK Rowling’s life by jumping in front of a car. At some point before dawn she stormed into my room and was all, “There is a puppy on the loose, so don’t let Margaret out without her leash.” And I was all, “JK Rowling was about to honor me!” And Amy was all, “Did you hear me about Margaret?” And I was all, “Get out of my room! You’ve destroyed the only hope I’ll ever have of getting one of JK Rowling’s handwritten Tales of the Beadle Bard!”

I spent the whole morning being mad at Amy and Margaret on account of THEY ARE DREAM STEALERS.

I suppose the only way she can make it up to me is to go to Sotheby’s and bid on the book. It goes on auction on my birthday.

Fate? I think so.

The artwork is awesome. I just bought a journal this afternoon because it had circus drawings circa the early nineteen hundreds on the front. Awesome.

I honor you. I honor you.

Weird. I was dreaming about Harry Potter this morning too. I was trying to figure out if Bug (our baby) was going to be a Griffyndor like Charles or a Ravenclaw like me. What do you think? Also, I need to email you with a question I have about the Deathly Hallows that I haven't figured out and you may know the answer to.

This may come as an absolute surprise - as in how can anyone live on this continent and be so ignorant and have birthed children who are not as ignorant - butttt...

This little mind of mine? It has not laid eyes on JKRowling's text - ev er.

If it helps, I haven't read any of the Left Behind Series either.

:)

Some day - on some tropical beach (or Palm Desert poolside) perhaps I shall.

I think that JKRowling is so brilliant with her new idea on the whole limited edition thing. Isn't she smart?
