Nothing for Christmas
I wrote a children's book this year called Nothing for Christmas. I planned on publishing it to make some dollars for charity for Christmas. But, it hit some production snags along the way and didn't get printed in time for Christmas. I made little homemade copies for my family. If all goes as planned and promised, the book will be really ready by next Christmas. It was illustrated by my friend Dean Trippe. The book illustrations will be in color. I hope you enjoy the story.
Merry Christmas, friends.
(P.S. These are all pretty big image files, so it might take a second or two for them to load.)
(P.P.S. If my blog layout looks wonky to you, hit refresh. I changed my design.)

Dean thanks Jason Horn, and his wife Sonrisa.
I thank Amy and Jennifer.

A Christmas story I can really get behind.
I love how everyone always says "it's not about the presents," but then still act like it is. They still go crazy trying to find the "perfect gift", and making sure they didn't leave anyone out. And feel disappointed if they get left out. Wouldn't it be better if we all asked for Nothing for Christmas, and gave all our Somethings away to people who really needed them? Such a wasteful time of year. Thank you for trying to put that right.
Hugs, and Happy New Year to you, Heather Anne!

Thank you, Talena! I hope you and your family also have a very Happy New Year! :)

What a pleasant surprise. I am very familiar with children's books -- and this story was absolutely terrific. This needs to be published. It is one thing to read it online, but this is something you want to hold in your hands.

Thank you, Neil. You are too kind. :)
